We are hiring 1-2 concession stand workers at East Madison Little League for the summer and fall seasons.

Employment Dates: Early May through End of July and September through October

Schedule: Monday – Thursday approximately 4:30 – 9 PM, Saturday May 10, 8 AM to 5 PM, also possibly June 6-8, and August 2-3, Some Friday evening from 5 - 8:30

Responsibilities:

•  Perform opening tasks of concession stand including grilling hotdogs, brats and burgers, setting out condiments

• Operate automated fryer

• Operate microwave to heat small food selection

• Operate popcorn machine

•  Replenish shelves as needed

• Wash kitchen utensils and preform general cleaning duties, including mopping the floor, taking out trash and recycling, etc.

• Clean bathrooms

• Perform closing duties including locking up at night.

Requirements:

• Must be 16 years or older

• Previous food prep experience is not necessary, grilling experience is nice to have

• Must be able to stand for several hours, most work is performed standing up

• Must be able to lift approximately 35 lbs

• Good communication skills

Compensation: $16/hours, hourly

Location: East Madison Little League, 1010 North Street, Madison, WI

Workers must not be available on all the listed nights but it is preferable if they are consistently available on the same night(s) every week. If the games get rained out, notification will be made by 4 PM and the concession worker will not work that evening.
